Mesh is the number of sieve openings per linear inch. The corresponding particle size depends on the sieve standard and grading method, so mesh is a useful shorthand but not an exact measurement.

What is calcium carbonate used for in industry?
Calcium carbonate (CaCO3) is widely used as a functional filler and extender in plastics, rubber, paints and coatings, paper, construction materials, putty and sealants. Suitability depends on purity, particle-size distribution, whiteness, surface treatment, moisture and end-use requirements.
Where does your calcium carbonate raw material come from?
Industrial-grade calcium carbonate is based on Omani natural stone, both high-density marble and sedimentary limestone, composed of 90% to over 99% pure calcium carbonate. The purity of any supplied grade is confirmed by its own specification and Certificate of Analysis.
What is the difference between mesh and micron?
Mesh is the number of sieve openings per linear inch, while a micron (µm) is a direct unit of particle size. Mesh-to-micron relationships vary by standard, so for fine and ultrafine powders we recommend specifying D50 and D97 values.
Is industrial grade suitable for pharmaceutical or food use?
No. Industrial grade is not to be assumed suitable for pharmaceutical, food or feed use without appropriate verification. High-purity grades are supplied against a defined specification, subject to destination-market regulations.
Which organic fertilizers do you supply?
Cow dung manure, goat manure, bone meal and neem cake, in forms such as raw, composted, dried, powdered, pelleted or cake, subject to supply. Specifications are provided upon request.
